Ticket Transferability


Tickets purchased through TICKETHOLDER are generally non-transferable, unless transferred via TICKETHOLDER Resale. If available, the ability to transfer or resell a ticket will be indicated in the ‘My Tickets’ section of your TICKETHOLDER account. After selecting your Order, eligible tickets will display a ‘Sell Ticket’ option next to them. If the ‘Sell Ticket’ option is not displayed below your ticket, that means the event organizer has not permitted resales for that ticket type or the event overall.

For tickets resold via TICKETHOLDER Resale, the original ticket holder will be eligible for a refund of the face value component (not including service fees originally paid) of their ticket purchase, upon payment of any applicable Resale Fee. This fee will only be charged upon successful resale of a ticket or order, and is non-refundable.

Official Resale Process


When permitted, all ticket transfers must be conducted through the official ‘Sell Ticket’ function on the TICKETHOLDER website. This is the only authorized method to change the name on or transfer ownership of a ticket.

Important points to note:

  • Third-party resale platforms are not authorized for TICKETHOLDER ticket transfers
  • Transfers via social media, private transactions, or other methods are not permitted
  • The ‘Sell Ticket’ function is the sole means of changing ticket ownership

Policy Enforcement


Attempting to resell or transfer a ticket outside of the official resale function may be considered a violation of this policy. Consequences of such violations may include:

  • Suspension of the user's TICKETHOLDER account​
  • Cancellation of tickets held within the account ​
  • Other actions as deemed necessary by TICKETHOLDER or the event organizer ​

​TICKETHOLDER and event organizers reserve the right to take these actions at any time, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Consumer Rights


This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. In the event of any conflict between this policy and applicable consumer protection laws, those laws will prevail.
